Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Displacer is the brainchild of Mike Morton, a young and multi-talented artist. Working as much on music than on illustration and web-design, Mike Morton demonstrates with his debut album "Moon_phase" an incredible maturity in sound and composition. Displacer is the perfect combination with dark melodies and hi-tech electronics. Even the famous record company Mute found a great talent to Displacer and decided to license the title "Deep" for the needs of the compilation "Pre-set" (release date: 17/01/2003). This album was mastered in San Francisco at 5-25 studio, the famous studio of Mike Wells of Gridlock. The album is enriched by three wonderful remixes executed by Ch District (new M-tronic siging from Poland), Beefcake and Gridlock. Choose your chemical element, choose B5 Displacer "Moon_phase".
