Miroslaw Matyasik started with artistic activity in 1996. Mainly as the musician, but for 3 years also as an actor. This one man project hailing from Poland works in the electronic music tradition with contemporary "intelligent electronic" sounds.
Acclaimed by electronic music enthusiasts and critics all over the world with his first appearance on the split Cd “Chemical Elements 1.0”, he finally presents his much awaited debut solo album.
Ch.District creates obscure and liquid molecular electronica that evolves around downtempo and airy ambience but also carry away with some clean and exciting beats. Abrasively intact rhythms slide smoothly across a sea of slippery clicks and tweaks, some could think about Arovane or Richard Devine but Ch.District creates a unique atmosphere.
The album is enriched with 4 brilliant remixes executed by Kero (USA/ShitKatapult), Dither (France/M-tronic), Telemetrik (Canada) and Diakof (Poland/M-tronic), and a videoclip of the opening track “Tiot”.
